Since January 2006, Mr. Auerbach has been the Chairman of the Board of Directors, and a member of the Compensation Committee and Audit Committee. Since September 2003, Mr. Auerbach has served as Executive Chairman of the Board of Directors of Par Pharmaceuticals, and as a Director of Optimer Pharmaceuticals, Inc. From June 1993 through December 2005, Mr. Auerbach served as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Central Lewmar L.P.
GARY SHEARMAN, P.H.D.

DIRECTOR
Dr. Shearman brings more than 25 years of biopharmaceutical industry experience. Dr. Shearman has been responsible for creating and implementing global drug development and regulatory strategies which have resulted in over twenty regulatory submissions and product approvals worldwide. Dr. Shearman also brings extensive insight into the biopharmaceutical market having spent the past six years as a venture capitalist and consultant to biotechnology companies, including over five years as Chairman and Managing Director of HBM Advisors USA, LLC, a provider of investment advisory services to HBM BioVentures and HBM BioCapital in the biotechnology and medical technology sectors.
Between May 1992 and January 2000, Dr. Shearman was employed by Rhône-Poulenc Rorer (now Sanofi/Aventis) where he served in a variety of positions, most recently as Deputy Head of Global Research and Drug Development and Senior Vice President of Global Drug Development. He was responsible for ensuring the global implementation of the corporate product strategy and coordinating all R&D, marketing and manufacturing activities related to the widely used cardiovascular and oncology drugs Lovenox® and Taxotere®. He also served as Senior Vice President of Pharmaceutical Drug Development for Rhône-Poulenc Rorer where he coordinated global drug development and regulatory strategies and directed global departments with over 2,200 employees and a consolidated annual budget of approximately $450 million.
From 1987 to 1992, Dr. Shearman worked at Merck & Co., Inc. where he served as Director of International Regulatory Affairs and prior to that as Associate Director, Clinical Neurosciences. Dr. Shearman’s began his pharmaceutical career at Sandoz, Ltd., a Swiss pharmaceutical company (now a part of Novartis) where he worked in drug discovery and as a project leader for central nervous system products.
Dr. Shearman earned his Ph.D in Pharmaceutical Sciences at the University of Rhode Island. He did his post-doctoral studies in the Department of Neuropharmacology at the Max Planck Institute for Psychiatry in Munich, Germany. Dr. Shearman is Chairman of the Board of Directors of Nereus Pharmaceuticals, Inc., a privately held biopharmaceutical company.
RUBEN SELTZER

Mr. Seltzer is the founder and former President and Chief Executive Officer of Neuro-Hitech. Mr. Seltzer has been Chief Executive Officer and President of Marco Hi-Tech JV LLC, a raw material and ingredient distribution company serving the dietary supplement industry, since 1996 and a Director and consultant for Hi-Tech Pharmacal Co., Inc. (NASDAQ: HITK), a generic pharmaceutical company, since 1992. Mr. Seltzer received a B.A. in Economics from Queens College, a J.D. degree from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, and an L.L.M. from New York University.

Mr. Abernathy has been a Director and a member of the Compensation Committee and Audit Committee since January 2006. Mr. Abernathy served as Chief Operating Officer of Patton Boggs LLP from January 1995 until his retirement in May 2004. Prior to Patton Boggs LLP, Mr. Abernathy served as Managing Partner of the accounting firm BDO Seidman from 1983 to 1990. Since July 2001, Mr. Abernathy has served on the Board of Directors of Par Pharmaceutical Company, Inc. and as Chairman of its Audit Committee since September 2003. Mr. Abernathy is also a Director and Chairman of the Audit Committee for Sterling Construction Company, Inc.
ALAN KESTENBAUM
DIRECTOR
Mr. Kestenbaum is the founder and former Executive Vice President of Neuro-Hitech. Mr. Kestenbaum has been Executive Vice President and a Director of Marco Hi-Tech JV LLC, a raw material and ingredient distribution company serving the dietary supplement industry, since January 2002. In March 2004, Mr. Kestenbaum founded and is currently Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of International Metals Enterprises.
DAVID DANTZKER, M.D. *

Dr. Dantzker, a general partner with Wheatley MedTech Partners L.P., has served on the faculty and in leadership positions of four major research-oriented medical schools and has authored or co-authored 130 research papers and five textbooks. He has been president of North Shore-LIJ Health System, one of the largest academic health systems in the U.S. with annual revenue of over $3 billion, and co-founded the North Shore-LIJ Research Institute to direct and coordinate basic science research for the North Shore-LIJ Health System. Dr. Dantzker holds a B.A. in biology from New York University and received his M.D. from the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Medicine.
JAY LOMBARD, M.D. *

Dr. Lombard is in private practice in neurology and neuropsychiatry. Formerly the Chief Resident of Neurology at Long Island Jewish Medical Center, he is Board Certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. Dr. Lombard is currently an Assistant Clinical Professor of Neurology at New York Presbyterian Hospital, Cornell Medical School, and the Director of the Brain Behavior Center in Pomona, New York. A member of the Medical Advisory Panel for the Cure Autism Now Foundation, he has lectured extensively on both the neurobiology of the autistic syndrome and on the application of complementary medicine in neurological disorders
